FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I REGISTER? 
At the bottom of each booking page, there will be a button that says, "register now". This button will take you directly to our registration website to complete registration. Each individual that registers for an experience or trip with us will need to make their own individual account.

 

ARE YOU FLEXIBLE WITH DATES?

For flexibility, you can opt for your own private group trip. You choose your preferred date and a personalized trip itinerary will be planned for you! Private groups are perfect for those who want to travel with their existing circle of friends or loved ones. 

 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A GROUP LEADER?

You get to do what you do best…LEAD. You determine key decisions like the destination, length of stay, budget, excursions and our travel concierge team puts everything together. All you need to do is influence your group (Minimum of 16 guests) to join you. Plus, you get special perks, when available. See, it’s not difficult at all. Your group can include your family, friends, church group, fraternity/sorority, cycling club, etc. So, what’s stopping you? Proceed to question #9 to see how to start your own group.


HOW DO I START MY OWN GROUP?

Becoming a group leader is easy. Schedule a “Free 30-Minute Consultation”, provide some simple information and a member of our Travel Concierge Team will meet with you on your selected appointment.
 

WHAT TYPE OF ACTIVITIES WILL WE BE DOING?

You will find this information in the trip itinerary. If you do not have access to this, please email info@crownlegacytravel.com for a full breakdown of all excursion activities included for your travel experience.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO SECURE MY BOOKING?

Yes, a deposit is REQUIRED. Initial deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit secures a confirmed reservation.
 

DO I HAVE TO SECURE MY OWN FLIGHTS AND TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?

Yes, unless specified differently on your itinerary.
 

DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Crown Legacy Travel strongly recommends that you invest in a travel protection policy to protect you should there be any unforeseen circumstances which may lead to the cancellation of your trip. Such plan, at a minimum, should cover Trip Cancellation or Interruption, Cancel for Any Reason, Medical Expense, Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, and Baggage. Travel protection plans can help protect you in the event of loss of non-refundable trip deposits and payments that result from cancellation or trip interruption (due to a covered reason such as injury or illness before or during the trip). It also helps with reimbursement for medical emergency costs (including very costly medical evacuation costs), missed connections and baggage loss.
 

DO I NEED A PASSPORT FOR AN INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION?

Yes. You will need a passport to travel to an international destination. You may also need a visa, but that will be indicated in the booking if it is needed. When booking your trip, if you don't currently have a passport but will have one before your trip begins, place six (0) in the section for a passport number.
 

HOW WILL I KEEP UP WITH THE LATEST DETAILS OF MY TRIP?

Once we have confirmed your booking, you will be added to a private Facebook group/WhatsApp/GroupMe chat with other travelers who have secured their booking on the trip as well. This group chat is separate from the main Facebook community. We will also send out important information related to your trip via email as well. Please make sure you place us on your “safe sender” email list so that you receive all correspondence.
 

ARE THERE SINGLE OCCUPANCY OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

Absolutely. During booking, just select the single occupancy option. If you don't see this option available, please email us at info@crownlegacytravel.com.
 

HOW WILL PAYMENTS BE MADE?

Payments will be made via our registration platform. Monthly payment options are available.
 

CAN I TRANSFER MY PAID FUNDS TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

No. This is considered a cancellation in which case, a refund or transfer of funds is not allowed. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover this situation.
 

CAN I PAY MY ENTIRE PAYMENT UP-FRONT?

Absolutely. During registration it gives you the option to make monthly payments or to pay in full. You can submit your full payment within the payment portal if you choose.
 

I HAVE A ROOMATE. WHEN CAN I REQUEST THAT WE ROOM TOGETHER?

Room assignment request should be noted on your booking form submission. Notify us via email at info@crownlegacytravel.com (no later than (3) months prior to departure) if this was not indicated initially.
